Description
Our Basic Dental Assisting Course is the perfect way to jump start your career as a dental assistant. This course will prepare you to work in a dental office at an entry level position. This 15 week course also includes a weekend hands on Radiology portion in an actual dental office! Course instruction will start with explanations of medical terminology, insurance and office procedures. The student will be tutored in Universal Precautions, Periodontics, OSHA requirements, First Aid and CPR. The student will also be instructed in preparations of amalgamates and other laboratory techniques.
