Description
This course is designed to prepare students for attainment of the nationally recognized Child Development Associate Credential. The course curriculum is based on Early childhood theory and research, professional journals and standards set forth by the National Association Education of Young Children, Professional code of Ethics and Developmentally Appropriate Practice. Components of the course include portfolio development, emphasis on writing skills, child observations and one on one assistance in the completion of required documentation in preparation for final assessments.
