Description
Project management is the methodology employed to maintain control over schedule and resources and assure quality results in the midst of risk and uncertainty. The USM Project Management Certificate Program consists of a three-course core curriculum and electives. The core builds individual and organizational skills through a series of progressive courses based on proven practices. The electives allow participants to customize the program to match their individual career or organizational needs.
Required courses: must be taken in the following sequence (8 days/56 hours):
Effective Project Management (21 hours)
Implementing Project Management (14 hours)
Advanced Project Management (21 hours)
Elective courses (minimum of 12 hours): choose any combination of courses from the Business and Management catalog.
