Description
This will be an interdisciplinary degree incorporating business, communication, graphic arts, media, analytical and relationship-building courses for students who eager to work in today’s fast-paced, continually-evolving business environment.
Language is power. It is the catalyst to thought and action. Used effectively, it can move mountains and is ultimately mightier than the sword, the bomb or any other force. This Associate’s degree will help you tap your unique gifts as a communicator and realize power and potential you never dreamed you had. You’ll hone your skills and lay a solid foundation through supportive, stimulating classroom interactions. Then you’ll get out of the classroom to apply what you’ve learned, working in and with the community to bring people the information they need to make informed decisions and lead better lives. Along the way, your work may also serve as a watchdog for democracy, help create and maintain communities, bear witness to current events, serve as a record for posterity, and help give voice to and advocate for the voiceless. Not bad for a college education! Besides helping others with your work, you’ll also be helping yourself. You’ll be building a solid portfolio that will separate you from the rest of the pack, marking you as a professional ready for a career or advanced training. So select the PCJ A.A. and prepare to stretch, grow and achieve things you never thought possible.
