Medical Laboratory Technician.
An instructional program that prepares individuals to perform general medical laboratory procedures and routines, under the supervision of a physician or laboratory director. Includes instruction in medical laboratory procedures; equipment operation and maintenance; principles of different bacteriological, biological, and chemical test procedures; equipment and sample inventorying and storage; laboratory safety procedures; laboratory assistant supervision; and record-keeping.
