Description
The Administrative Medical Specialist with Medical Billing and Coding is a
nationally-recognized online program that will prepare you for the
rewarding field of healthcare. Through this program, you will gain a wide
range of medical office management skills that healthcare professionals
need for the efficient operation of their medical practices or other
ambulatory care settings.
You will learn to function as an important member of the healthcare team by
providing key skills such as patient registration and scheduling, medical
records management, diagnostic and procedural coding (including ICD-10-CM),
insurance claim filing, and daily financial practices.
Upon completion of this program, you will be ready to take the Certified
Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) and the Certified Billing and
Coding Specialist (CBCS) national certification exams offered by National
Healthcareer Association (NHA) and will receive the study guide materials,
access to practice exams, and registration fees for both. You will also be
