Description
This training program is designed for the propane and/or natural gas service technician who requires CETP certification to meet State of Maine training requirements for a gas license. The program consists of three courses that are required for the appliance connection and service technician license endorsement: Basic Principles and Practices, Appliance Installation, and Appliance Service. The Large Appliance course meets the training requirement for the Large Appliance gas license endorsement. CETP certification process requires passing the certification exam (included in courses) and skill assessment verification* for each course. The skill assessments ARE NOT included in the course. Topics include:
• Measuring electrical quantities
• Electrical schematic diagrams
• Electrical troubleshooting
