Description
The Electromechanical Technology program prepares students for careers in electricity and electronic fields that require technicians who are capable of dealing with the challenge of rapid changes in technology.
This program covers 5 major content areas of study: (1) Electricity & Industrial Controls, (2) Digital & Analog Electronics, (3) Process Control & Measurement, (4) Robotics & Automation, and (5) Telecommunications.
Upon graduation students qualify for entry level positions as: electromechanical technicians, electrical/electronic technicians, electricians, engineering assistants, instrument technicians, maintenance technicians and robotic technicians.
