As a Facilities TD Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
+ Provide Facilities engineering leadership to Intel’s network of manufacturing sites worldwide for process technology transfers in support of Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental, and Cost objectives.
+ Own safety within the area of influence.
+ Ensure systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing/facility or environmental excursions, own system documentation, and maintenance strategy.
+ Support Facilities technology, development for Intel’s network of manufacturing sites worldwide.
+ Provide direct support and maintain periodic communication with key suppliers to ensure the latest and most cost-effective solutions are and technical accuracy is maintained in master specifications and standards.
+ Provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with safety, code, and Intel standards as well as study opportunities to reduce cost and improve schedule.
+ Provide Facilities system technology transfer support to Fab and Sort Manufacturing (FSM) facilities converting to new process technologies; ongoing technical guidance to FSM sustaining facility teams to maintain and improve factory operations.
+ Communicate tactical concepts across a wide range of employees engineering peers to operational technicians to management.
+ Support major program facility design efforts for Cleanroom/Support Air Handling Systems and General Building Exhaust (Makeup and Recirculating Air systems, HPM area Air Handling systems) Develop and present comprehensive technical proposals, concepts, and analysis in Mechanical Facility System Design feature to both technical and non-technical partners.
+ Work in a collaborative environment, partner with engineering team peers to ensure cross-discipline connections are understood and accounted for.
+ Develop advanced engineering concepts for less experienced engineering teams.
+ Act as technical mentor to engineering staff, providing feedback and direction.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate must have at least one of the following:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or closely related field with 6+ years of experience in facilities and/or maintenance operations, system engineering, thorough knowledge on codes and standards related to design of HVAC systems, and design/construction of mechanical systems (Cleanroom Air Handling System – filtration, Pressure, Temperature and Humidification control; Recirculating Air Handler System – RAH, FFU, Laminarity controls).
+ Master of Science degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field with 4+ years of experience in facilities and/or maintenance operations, system engineering, and design/construction of mechanical systems (Cleanroom Air Handling System – filtration, Pressure, Temperature and Humidification control; Recirculating Air Handler System – RAH, FFU, Laminarity controls).

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
