Job Description:
This position manages all operations for Maine Ferry service, oversees all contract procurement and invoicing. Manages operation of all internet infrastructure with attention to ticketing services. Ensures proper training of all staff, oversees security with respect to Facility Security plan through the Facility Security Officer. Sets and manages Ferry service budget. Works closely with U.S. Coast Guard to ensure compliance and safety with Code of Federal Regulations. Works closely with island stakeholders to ensure customer service levels remain optimal. Serves through appointment by MaineDOT Commissioner on Casco Bay Island Transit District board of Directors. Minimum requirements: Candidates must demonstrate progressive experience in managing programs and possess strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Candidates must demonstrate progressive experience in managing programs and leading people. Preference will be given to candidates in marine operations and/or public transportation management.
