Interested candidates: - are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the kiddos and families you serve - are self-driven to succeed - have an intrinsic desire to help others - have a positive attitude - are able to perform the physical skills necessary for the position - are able to work independently - value continuing education and intensive training - seek to feel valued in your role as a Behavioral Health Professional - have a vehicle that is registered and insured in the state of Maine - are 18 years or older - have a valid driver's license - have a valid high school diploma or GED - can pass a comprehensive background check - can commute within a 35 mile radius of Lewiston Maine Compnay isunique because? - we seek individualized solutions for all those affiliated with our organization - we provide direct oversight from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for all of our employees - use a Tandem BCBA approach - use Applied Behavior Analysis at the core of all of our company policies, programming, and procedures - have an intensive, ongoing, staff training program - we take a team-centered approach to the development and maintenance of high-quality in-home services - decide rates of pay based on employee performance We Support our employees by: - providing a monthly 25 dollar stipend for volunteer work at a non-profit in the local community - providing paid time-off - providing mileage reimbursement - providing dental insurance - providing a comprehensive employee-driven incentive system that includes raises, gas cards, and PTO hours PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS: *Direct Support Professionals *Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician *Ed Tech's *Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) certification *CPR/First Aid training *Safety-Care Certification Applicants who do not possess the above certifications are still encouraged to apply. Our agency will provide paid BHP training, CPR/First Aid training, Safety Care and ongoing staff training that is tailored to each individual. Hours are typically full-time after school and on weekends, 30-40 hours per week. During school vacations hours may change to daytime if it is to the benefit of the child. Some BHPs also choose to work holidays, but it is not a requirement.
