Bookkeeper Job in Fort Kent, Maine
Pay: $20 per hour
Schedule: M-F 8a-5p
Assignment Length: Temp-to-Hire

Duties:
- Overseeing financial information and compliance for both internal and 3rd party contractor accounts
- Reporting monthly financial data, general ledger entries, and recording all payments and adjustments
- Processing accounts payable and receivable
- Handling 3rd-party billing, deposits, and reconciliation of automated electronic entries
- Auditing internal processes and systems
- Processing weekly payroll
- Ensuring contract compliance with purchasing agents
- General office support
Requirements:
- Computer proficiency with MS Office and internal operational systems
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to prioritize
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field
- 3-5 years practical work experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred
