Job Description

The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for implementing the strategic initiatives aimed at improving the company’s communication across our thousands of employees nationwide. Efforts include internal brand messaging development and management to increase transparency, execution and project management of internal engagement programs, and other special projects with direct reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications and Vice President of Marketing, and close collaboration with HR and corporate team members.

In this team member, we see someone who can jump into all aspects of the function and contribute in a constructive way, no project too big or too small for this role.

Duties:

+ Design and execute the internal communications programs, led by the Director of Marketing and Communications and VP of Marketing, and in partnership with the HR department and corporate leaders. Programs include the internal newsletter, email announcements, All Hands meeting, Slack campaigns, and other regular communication campaigns across the company.

+ Establish a consistent internal corporate brand messaging strategy that is reflected across all product and service programs, increases transparency, and improves engagement.

+ Manage responses to all external employee engagement platforms, including Glassdoor, Indeed, Crunchbase, etc.

+ Ensure branding consistency across all internal communication channels.

+ Build strong working relationships across Curative’s executive team and regional leadership to provide an integrated communications approach across the organization.

+ Devise a robust internal communications calendar of activities and announcements, including fun employee communications and engagement projects.

+ Provide regular reporting and metrics of internal marketing and comms initiatives.

+ Keep current on relevant industry and societal issues that could impact plans for our internal communications.

Job Requirements:

+ Strong writing skills and ability to communicate complex concepts into simple, user-friendly messages for multiple employees backgrounds.

+ Experience working on brand and marketing campaigns with a track record of creating exceptional marketing assets including emails, printed materials, visual collateral, and more.

+ Strong organization and time management skills that enable the employee to prioritize and manage a high volume of detailed work with conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

+ Excellent communication skills to facilitate routine and accelerated work requests with suppliers and manage internal corporate expectations.

+ Immense personal initiative is required to anticipate requests before they are received with a “do-what-it-takes” attitude.

+ A positive and professional team player attitude that works well under pressure and is flexible and responsible. Attention to detail and a good head for numbers.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), email marketing tools, and other online communications tools.

+ Strong writing samples

Experience/Education Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field or relevant years of experience building, leading, and driving marketing and communications teams.

+ 5-7 years of experience with integrated, internal brand campaign management.

+ Demonstrated experience within marketing teams, with a “roll up the sleeves and get it done” approach. Must be able to work quickly under pressure and deadlines.

+ Proven experience in working with senior-level executives and within a marketing team.
