AIRPORT FACILITIES MANAGER
Aviation & Transportation Department – The Portland International Jetport is seeking a highly motivated individual for the Engineering and Facilities Department. Under the direction of the Deputy Director, this position will assist in the oversight of Airport Facilities at the Portland International Jetport. Responsibilities for this position include: Create and maintain a preventative maintenance program, Implement and maintain asset management database, Work Order Prioritization, Review and Close-Out Completed Work Orders, analyze workload and prepare recommendation for utilization of staff, and provide technical assistance to subordinates. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university or combination of education and experience (8+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, directly related to construction management, facility management, or project management may be substituted in lieu of educational requirement). Applicants must have knowledge of current operational procedures for preparation, repair, maintenance, and modifications of various mechanical and electrical systems as required and maintain a valid Class C Maine Driver’s License. Training & Experience Desired: Large facility specific management and construction experience, Knowledge of the current materials, methods, tools, and equipment used in journeyman level building trades (painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning), and custodial maintenance. Salary range is: $65,969 to $78,761/year.
