We are seeking Material Handlers! Positions are available on the first shift. Regular first shift schedule is 5am – 3:30pm, Monday – Thursday.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE:
The successful candidate will operate a crane and a fork truck to unload and put away steel, unload box and flatbed trucks, load material in POU racks, remove daily production and finished goods and transfer to the appropriate location, supply production with raw materials, and assist production in moving material from operation to operation as needed. Assist in general receiving duties, assist Shipping as needed, and complete any other duties as required.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:
Previous experience in equipment operation such as overhead cranes, excavation equipment, and/or forklift experience required. Successful candidate will possess the ability to communicate effectively, work with Microsoft Word and Excel, complete computations to convert between units of measure, and work independently with limited supervision. Candidate must demonstrate basic math, reading, and computer skills. Candidate must have a strong understanding of safety and quality. Fork truck experience a must. Experience with metal fabrication, welding, and/or CDL preferred, but not required. Experience in shipping and receiving a plus.
Education: Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
