Job Description
Counter Sales/Customer Service Representative
Looking for a team-oriented personality who enjoys building relationships with wholesale/commercial customers. You will need to have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and assist in various departments as needed.
Required Experience
- Sales Experience and Product knowledge.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or counter sales environment.
- Phone skills and personal interaction.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred at a minimum.
- Sufficient literacy skills to read and understand labels, part numbers and other warehouse documents.
- Basic math skills with the ability to read a tape measure and use fractions.
- Basic PC Computer operation skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Confidently greet and assist wholesale customers in the showroom, in a professional and friendly manner.
- Provide counter sales and service to new and existing customers.
- Enter orders into the computer system.
- Pick orders from the warehouse and complete customer orders.
- Maintain a clean, orderly and functional work area.
- Assist other team members when needed.
- Responsible for maintaining showroom appearance and stock levels.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to work in and to contribute to a team environment
