Period of Intended Employment: 04/01/2026 to 10/31/2026

All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform the work described in the job order and must be available for the entire period of employment specified.  Workers are needed to plant, maintain and move greenhouse plants, nursery plants. Workers must have a working knowledge of and ability to perform various tasks required in greenhouse and nursery production, including planting, watering, suckering, lowering, clipping and thinning. Workers will perform nursery work including transplanting, weeding, thinning, hoeing and other tasks required in the yard. Workers will load and unload trucks and other farm vehicles, set up and operate various irrigation equipment, and cut brush and other vegetation in and around fields, buildings and equipment. Workers may use hand tools such as but not limited to: shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, hand saws, and knives. Workers must be able to operate agricultural equipment safely, and work in various extreme weather conditions from damp, cold spring and fall days to hot, humid summer days.

The work assigned will be physically demanding, walking, bending, stooping and kneeling for long periods of time will be required. Workers must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds frequently. Workers may be asked to operate trucks or other
multi-purpose vehicles to transport workers from housing (whether on or off farm) to the farm properties; haul tools, supplies, or crops; transport workers from place to place around the farm properties during the workday
(including on public roads to reach farmer's fields); and/or transport workers to the grocery store, bank, or laundry facilities on an as needed basis. Workers that are requested to drive will be required to possess a valid
driver’s license; no worker will be rejected for not having a driver's license. Workers who do drive will still perform the same field work and other duties as non-driving workers; driving is not a primary duty. Workers must be
available to work 7-hour shifts within the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm Monday through Friday and may require to work 3-hour shifts within the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm on Saturday and may require to work 2 hour shift within
the hours of 7:00am - 7:00pm on Sunday. Workers will be given a 30-minute lunch break which is staggered between 11am - 1pm as decided by the workers. Workers may choose where to eat their lunch and return to work
after their 30 minutes are up. Workers will also receive a 15-minute break in the morning as agreed upon by the worker and management. The daily or weekly work schedules may vary due to weather, sunlight, temperature,
crop conditions, and other factors. The employer will notify workers of any change to the schedule. The employer will provide 1 day of training and allow 2 days of work for the workers to satisfactorily perform duties described
in this job description. The employer will furnish to workers without cost all tools and equipment required to perform all duties assigned. The employer reserves the right to conduct random drug screenings at their discretion.
These screenings will be performed at no cost to the employee and are intended to ensure workplace safety and compliance with company policies. Workers should report for work with their own suitable clothing and must be
able to take directions in simple English
