Presque Isle, ME - Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
 

Schedule: Full-Time/Nights; 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM, Mon-Thurs., 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Fridays

Payrate: $16.50/hr. + $0.50/hr. differential for night shifts.

Job Description:

Immediate opening for a Production Associate to work for a well-established manufacturer in Presque Isle. This is a great entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in building skills in a manufacturing environment. Prior production experience is helpful, but not required. Benefits are available after introductory period. 

The Production Associate will be responsible for manufacturing high-quality products that meet company standards for appearance and performance. This role involves operating and maintaining production machinery, completing basic equipment repairs, maintaining a safe, clean work area, and completing all required quality and production reports.

Responsibilities:
 

• Manufacture products in accordance with quality assurance guidelines.
• Meet established production and performance goals.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot simple mechanical issues as needed.
• Store finished products and raw materials in a safe and orderly manner.
• Complete and submit quality and production reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Perform other relevant duties as required.

Job Requirements:
 

• Ability to crouch, kneel, and climb on or under machinery to perform adjustments.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Ability to work will independently or as part of a team.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
