Job Title: 1st Shift Material Coordinator
Pay: $17.09/hr
Hours: 1st Shift 6:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Thursday (with Overtime on Fridays when mandatory)

As a Material Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in supporting daily operations by ensuring the proper movement, rotation, and staging of materials throughout the department. You’ll work closely with the production team to maintain a smooth, organized, and safe workflow.
What You’ll Do:
As a Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Obtaining materials from designated areas efficiently and accurately.
- Rotating materials by date to ensure the oldest stock is used first unless specified otherwise.
- Servicing production workstations with the necessary materials in a timely manner.
- Loading press racks according to established procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintaining inventory control and proper documentation for all materials.
- Reviewing and following all applicable work instructions to guarantee quality.
- Operating a crane, hoist, chain fall, and forklift (after appropriate training).
- Identifying materials, determining quantities, and performing basic math as needed for accuracy.
- Detecting defects, imperfections, and discrepancies in materials to uphold quality standards.
- Reporting any malfunctioning equipment or potentially hazardous conditions immediately to ensure safety.
What You’ll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures meticulously.
- Willingness to learn and operate industrial powered vehicles (license required after training).
- Ability to detect defects, perform basic math, and identify material types.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset for teamwork.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Physical capability to lift, move, and handle materials as required.
