Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Front Desk Clerk and Night Auditor, where your energy and hospitality expertise will create memorable guest experiences around the clock. In this vital role, you will serve as the welcoming face of our hotel, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes while maintaining exceptional guest relations. During overnight shifts, you’ll oversee the hotel’s financial transactions, perform detailed audits, and uphold the highest standards of security and service. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help foster a safe, welcoming environment for all guests and staff.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and efficient check-in and check-out services.
- Manage guest inquiries via phone using multi-line phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and multilingual communication skills when needed.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately while maintaining up-to-date records in hotel management systems.
- Conduct night audits by reviewing daily financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing detailed reports to ensure accuracy for the next day’s operations.
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting property inspections, and controlling access to restricted areas during overnight hours.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs efficiently and uphold hotel standards.
- Document incidents or irregularities during shifts through comprehensive reports for management review.
- Uphold hotel policies on guest privacy, safety, and confidentiality while delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management with experience in front desk operations or hotel management roles.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences.
