Now hiring a skilled Maintenance Technician to work for a locally-owned business that provides factory installation and repairs for facilities in Aroostook County. Excellent daytime schedule, competitive pay and benefits. Great opportunity for an individual that enjoys completing hands-on projects and working in a team-oriented environment! Full-Time/Days; Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (with occasional afternoon/weekend hours as needed). $22.00/hr. with benefits available after temp-to-hire period concludes. 

The Maintenance Technician will assist with mechanical repairs, light fabrication work, and rigging tasks during both routine and emergency maintenance calls. Responsibilities will also include supporting crane-assisted lifts, completing required safety trainings, and helping maintain a clean, organized workspace. Applicants should have prior mechanical installation experience and be comfortable operating basic hand and power tools. Driver's license and personal transportation required. Employees will be expected to provide their own tools and steel-toed boots. 
 
Responsibilities:   
  • Perform equipment installation, maintenance, and removal in a variety of industrial and factory environments.
  • Assist with routine and emergency maintenance projects.
  • Perform light fabrication or assembly work related to equipment installation.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Assist with crane-supported lifts and rigging.
  • Follow safety protocols and attend employer-sponsored safety training.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure that projects are completed in an efficient, timely manner. 

Job Requirements:
 
  • 2-3 years' experience in skilled trades, construction, or millwright work.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Able to provide own steel-toed boots and basic hand tools.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed to meet project demands.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration.
  • Background check and drug screen required. 

Pay: $22.00/hr. with benefits; health insurance, simple IRA with 3% match, PTO and vacation available after temp-to-hire period. 
Schedule: Full-Time/Days; Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (with occasional afternoon/weekend hours as needed).
