We’re seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Loan Servicing Escrow and Mortgage Specialist to join our team in Norway!

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the administration of the bank’s escrow program and perform a variety of more complex loan servicing functions, as well as provide support for the Loan Operations team with priorities and projects as needed.

Success in this role will require a complete and thorough understanding of back office systems, audit requirements, government regulations, bank integration and principles of accounting. 

Our Ideal Candidate Has: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years of experience in loan servicing preferred
• Knowledge of State and Federal laws pertaining to banking and lending
• Ability to analyze complex problems with a demonstrated desire to find efficiencies in all aspects of job functions
• High degree of organizational skills and detail orientation
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Fiserv Core System and Director
• Understanding of retail loan products and regulatory requirements
• Effective written and verbal communication skills 
• Exemplifies a positive and collaborative attitude as part of a dynamic team
• Ability to prioritize and organize work flows; excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task 
• Able to work independently

Essential Pieces of the Position:

• Coordinates all aspects of real estate tax payments on a timely basis, according to established procedures and is the primary contact for bank’s the property tax vendor and systems.
• Manages the payment of property owner's insurance and flood insurance from escrow and is the primary contact for the insurance tracking vendor and systems.
• Conducts compliance review of all escrow documents, verifying that all regulations are being followed.
• Reviews escrow analysis to ensure accurate information is used for escrow payment amount of property taxes due and monthly payments required from the borrowers.
• Prepares and processes loan accounts that have life, disability and/or PMI insurance according to established procedures; processes remittances and cancellations.
• Assists with performing general ledger balancing and reconciliation of the Loan Servicing related accounts.
• Assists with processing the daily loan non-post and exception items.  
• Serves as backup in other Loan Operation functions and supports projects, as needed.
• Reviews all new loan setup documentation for completeness and accuracy. 
• Conducts compliance review of all documents, verifying that all regulations are being followed; Reg Z, RESPA, OFAC, CIP as it relates to loan file documentation.
• Processes all loan related transactions for funding
• Reviews all check lists alongside the origination and processing teams.  Ensure all audit controls are in place and signoff is completed.
• Ensures all flood regulations are being followed along with home owner insurance policies.
• Assists in updating of Index rates on the Core system.
• Provides Customer Service and Retail support; handles all customer calls; escrow analysis inquires, rate changes, billing questions, complaints, etc.

Working Conditions:
