Job Title: Laborer/Assembler – Urgently Hiring

Pay: $18–$20 per hour
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP – Duration TBD

We are seeking a General Laborer for a full-time, position for our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in signage and plastic-based product solutions, located in Brunswick, Maine. The General Laborer will support various stages of the production process including material preparation, assembly, packaging, and quality control. The General Laborer will ensure that all products meet high-quality standards and are assembled and packed efficiently and safely. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented position in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

As a General Laborer, you will be responsible for:

• Completing assigned work consistent with the daily and weekly production schedule

• Performing all tasks while following safety guidelines and company policies

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area

• Assembling products such as signage, acrylic, vinyl, and other materials to company standards

• Following packaging instructions to ensure product safety during transit

• Operating various hand tools and assembly equipment

• Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet production goals

• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors

• Maintaining confidentiality of company and employee information

• Performing other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• A high school diploma or GED

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment

• Mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools

• The ability to read and understand process instructions and work orders

• Willingness to be cross-trained and work in multiple areas

• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic

• Physical ability to stand for long periods and safely lift up to 50 lbs

• The ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods

• The ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and use fingers for fine motor tasks
