Job Description

We are seeking a growing professional with a passion for financial modeling, data analysis, and continuous improvement to join our FP&A team as a Senior Finance Analyst. In this role, you will report to the FP&A Manager while working collaboratively across the finance leadership team to provide key information and support. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a strong understanding of financial statements.

Job Responsibilities
Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with senior leaders, and consolidating the proposed business unit budgets at the enterprise level.
Support development of materials for quarterly reviews, monthly close reviews, financial statements for internal and external stakeholders, and others as needed (financial storytelling).
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and dashboards for senior management, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to evaluate operational efficiency and performance against company goals (variance analysis).
Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and financial modelling as requested by leadership.
Coordinate with the accounting team to support month-end close processes.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, translating financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance function.
Support the administration and optimization of our financial reporting tools.
Qualifications
MBA or Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related area
3-7 years of relevant experience
Thorough understanding of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Very strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, charts/visualizations, formatting)
Strong skills with PowerPoint and Power BI (or other BI tools)
Experience with EPM/CPM reporting software (e.g. Prophix, Strata, Oracle Planning, Anaplan)
