Deli Associate
Presque Isle, ME – FT/Days or PT/Days – Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Job Description:
Immediate openings for Deli Associates to work for a locally-owned business in Presque Isle. Daytime shifts with multiple schedule options available! Previous retail or food service experience helpful, but not required. Full-Time/Days or Part-Time/Days; hours available from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Sunday – Saturday. $15.00/hr.
The Deli Associate will prepare and package food products for customers. Employee will be responsible for setting up sales displays, assisting customers, keeping the deli and related work areas clean, and ensuring that all food safety and sanitation regulations are met.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customers with friendly and efficient service.
- Prepare food items, following all recipes and food safety guidelines as directed.
- Slice, package, and weigh orders for meats, cheeses, and other deli products.
- Organize sales displays and inspect sell-by dates.
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of deli items.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Sanitize equipment, dishes, and utensils.
- Assist with other relevant duties as required.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Must be 18 or older to operate deli slicers.
Schedule: Part-Time/Days; hours available from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Pay: $15.00/hr.
