Job Description
Salary: $448 / Week
Responsibilities
+ Follow a detailed support plan with goals specific to each client’s needs and be respectful of each client’s wishes and personal preferences.
+ Domestic support skills such as: cooking, cleaning, medication assistance, scheduling and attending medical appointments, shopping, transportation, and housing management.
+ Working on an array of goals to support clients in accessing social activities and utilizing community resources. Community inclusion support will likely include: attending social and volunteering events with client, encouraging client involvement in community, advocating for client, and providing transportation
+ Ensuring client’s health and safety.
+ Working with others in the interest of the individuals we support.
+ Proper documentation compliance in accordance with State of ME regulatory guidelines and practices using the ClearCare/Well Sky phone app.
Qualifications
+ One year of DSP experience is required
+ High School Diploma or G.E.D.
+ At least 18 years of age.
+ Legally eligible to work in the United States.
+ Pass a criminal, drug, and background check.
+ Three references.
+ Own a smartphone.
+ Able to keep online records and communicate via email.
+ Have a valid Driver’s License and Social Security Card.
+ Reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
+ BHP/DSP Certificate required
+ Have or be willing to obtain CPR, First Aid, and other training as required per state of Maine or clients’ Individualized Service Plans (ISPs)
+ Have or be willing to obtain up-to-date, CDC-recommended immunizations for healthcare workers including: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B and Seasonal Influenza
