Job Description
Our client in Brewer, Maine is seeking an Experienced CNC Operator.
Pay is $22 - $28 an hour Depending on Experience
This is a Temp to Hire position
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent with applicable mechanical/technical skill required. A two-year degree from a technical school or certificate from an industrial program preferred
Work Experience:
Experience with grinders, mills, lathes and gas and electrical welders, manual & CNC (both programming and running the equipment) required*.
Military machinists experience desirable.
Ability to read and interpret drawings/prints and to make parts to specification from prints.
Ability to reverse engineer old or obsolete parts and recreate to proper specifications and materials.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Maintain current Driver’s License in Good Standing.
Must meet applicable DOT motor vehicle operator requirements for driving company vehicles, etc., when applicable
Must be able to pass a background check and Motor Vehicle check
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Able to frequently bend and reach and lift up to 50lbs safely
Able to sit/stand at workstation for extensive periods of time.
