Assistance Plus is seeking an individual to fill the role of Behavioral Health Staffing Coordinator. The Behavioral Health Staffing Coordinator is responsible for creating and updating all schedules for Assistance Plus consumers within the Behavioral Health department. The Behavioral Health Staffing Coordinator prioritizes quality and consumer satisfaction in the performance of their duties while meeting program standards.
This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) located at our Winslow office.
Duties include and are not limited to:
+ Taking phone calls for schedule changes and cancellations for DLS and providing backup scheduling for DSP
+ Building and coordinating scheduling for new clients with DLS staff and providing backup for DSP clients as needed
+ Completing, documenting, emailing, and monitoring DLS Trackers for compliance
+ Addressing all client concerns in a timely manner, by phone/email when appropriate
+ Maintaining up-to-date client spreadsheets for DLS and providing backup for DSP as needed
+ Maintaining good lines of communications by promptly responding to e-mails, accurate documentation, and maintaining Agency lines of authority
+ Taking part in cross training with department staff to provide coverage during busy times and vacations
+ Logging all staff call outs in the employee log in Carevoyant
+ Logging all client cancellations in patient log in Carevoyant
+ Notifying supervisors timely when a client and/or employee has consistent cancellations
+ Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
+ A working knowledge of the DLS and DSP role
+ A minimum of two years scheduling experience
+ Associate’s Degree in Business Administration or Human Services preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
+ Must be 18 years of age or older
+ Must have a valid State of Maine driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage of $50k/$100k
+ Must have intermediate or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
+ A positive attitude with excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
