Summary
For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Clinicians!
Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time Clinician position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 3 months separation from employment.
~ 40 Hours/week, Full-time, Day shift ~
Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is preferred. Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) may also be considered
Position Summary
The Clinician role is responsible for conducting and documenting individual and family psychosocial assessments; documenting the findings of evaluations and progress in clients' medical record; conducting and documenting family and/or couples treatment of clients and their families; maintaining contact with community resources for after care and providing comprehensive discharge planning services.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Master's Degree in Social Work/Clinical Counseling from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work/Counselor Education required.
License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LMSW-CC (Licensed Master Social Worker, Conditional Clinical) or LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) required. State license to practice as a LADC and CADC as needed. Valid Driver's license if required for role.
Experience: Two years of relevant experience in a health or mental health setting preferred.
