Job Description
The Sunrise County Economic Council (SCEC) seeks a Project and Grants Specialist to
support and advance the Downeast Fisheries Partnership's (DFP) mission to strengthen
Downeast Maine communities by restoring a strong and resilient ecosystem and our
regional fisheries economy.
We are a network of eight nonprofit and education organizations who work
collaboratively within our communities' watersheds to restore healthy connected
habitats and sustainable fisheries for a strong and resilient coastal community. DFP
brings together a diverse set of local and regional partners with many decades of
experience in habitat restoration, land conservation, coastal fisheries, restorative
aquaculture, education and community outreach.
Working closely with the DFP Coordinator, partner organizations, municipalities and
other community organizations, this position will support and guide grant seeking efforts
through collaborative grant development, management and administration.
