What you will be doing:

+ Manage customer orders and inventory systems

+ Answering phones and assisting with customer needs

+ Enters customer orders and rail car shipments in inventory

+ Insure all rail cars Inbound and Outbound inspections are completed

+ Scaling trucks in and out for load weights

+ Prepare documentation for truck arrivals and departures (Bill of Lading, Truck Arrival Checklist, Truck Departure Checklist)

+ Preparing load schedule for next day’s loads

+ Enter heating charges in inventory systems

+ Provide Safety Briefing to new drivers, vendors, and visitors

+ Contact carriers to schedule pick-up times for the next day’s loads

+ Follows company/customer policies and procedures (i.e. internal controls, record retention, verification, etc.)

Requirements of a Successful Coordinator:

+ Must be able work Saturday as required

+ Ability to follow directions (written and verbal)

+ Attention to detail, self-motivated, and good organizational skills

+ Ability to multi-task

+ Knowledge of MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Outlook

+ Anticipates customer needs

+ Excellent customer service skills

+ Identify problem areas with customers and work with the manager to develop a resolution

+ Conducts themselves in a professional manner at all times

+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Here are some of the physical requirements of this role:

+ Coordinator will work on-site

+ Must be able to sit for long periods of time
