Job Description

The Checker (cashier) is responsible for scanning or entering manually into the terminal customers selected items and collecting payment from them. Checkers may be required to identify produce items. Checkers should provide excellent customer service/satisfaction to include being friendly, responsive, knowledgeable, and passionate. Checkers may also bag customers' items, as necessary. Checkers will handle cash, credit cards, checks, and other forms of payment appropriately, count back change and provide a receipt to customers.
