Job Description
Samorock LLC dba Samoset Resort located in Rockford, ME has the following openings available from 4/1/24 through 11/15/24.
Housekeeper,
• 8 openings
• Clean guest rooms and public areas daily including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming. Make beds and replenish linens.
• Min. Starting wage $18-$20/hr. OT $27-$30/hr over 40hrs/wk.
• Min 35hrs/wk, varied shifts i.e. 8a-3p & 3p-10p.
• Monday through Sunday, Scheduled shift and workdays vary.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays & rotate shifts.
• Pay weekly.
• Temporary, Full time
• 1 mo. exp. req’d.
• Supplies, work tools & equipment are provided free.
• Daily transportation to/from is not provided.
• On-the-job training is not provided.
• No education required.
• Visa & related fees will be reimbursed in the first work week.
• Guaranteed work for total hrs equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and daily subsistence (min $15.46/day and max $59/day), if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early employer will arrange and pay directly for return transportation and daily subsistence (min $15.46/day and max $59/day), upon departure.
• Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.
• Optional housing subject to availability $135/wk plus a $100.00 deposit & will be deducted weekly plus all deductions required by law.
