SUMMARY The QC Coordinator ensures the organization, products, and service meet objectives for quality with responsibilities for quality planning, quality assurance, quality control, and quality improvement. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned) .

+ Follow and enforce the cGMP policies laid out in the Quality Manual and SOP library.

+ Responsible for the maintenance of a quality system which complies with the requirements and applicable Quality System standards.

+ Ensure all employees are trained in applicable regulations and understand their role in compliance.

+ Ensure accurate recording and quality specifications and testing results.

+ Work closely with other departments in continuous improvement projects.

+ Assist in the creation, implement, and maintain SOPs.

+ Maintain pest control program, calibration policy, routine QC testing of finished goods and raw materials

+ Inspect raw materials and finished goods for conformance to specification

+ Measure water activity and cannabinoid content in finished goods

+ Assist in product development and research/development efforts


+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Strong understanding of cGMP and the audit process.

+ Demonstrated priority and time management skills.

+ Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

+ Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment with rapidly changing priorities.

+ Experience with HPLC-UV is a plus


+ Bachelor’s degree in a science field, preferred.

+ 1-3 years of laboratory experience, a plus.

+ 1-3 years manufacturing quality experience, a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT Able to meet the physical requirements that go with working in a lab atmosphere – standing for 2+ hours, extended reach, lifting up to 50lb, occasionally climb, kneel, or bend and specific vision ability – close, color, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
