The Systems & Network Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the IT systems infrastructure needs of the MCCS, including systems engineering and systems administration. The position is responsible for the effective design, provisioning, implementation, administration/management, monitoring, troubleshooting and security of local and wide area networks, servers, storage systems, voice/video telecommunications of the MCCS that meet business objectives and service level expectations while maintaining system security and integrity. Collaboration with the ACIO of Infrastructure, this position will help develop and lead the strategic, tactical, and operational activities, policies and procedures of the infrastructure team. This includes developing, advising, and training other employees in the execution of a strong information security strategy and associated policies and practices, conforming to industry standards and best practice. The Systems & Network Infrastructure Manager is involved with the budget development, purchasing process, and managing vendor relationships as it relates to all aspects of information technology systems architecture, networking, storage, security, and voice and video services. The position will regularly assess security risks and advise supervisors regarding mitigation strategies and monitoring of security performance and controls. The position will assist with the budget development for the infrastructure team, is involved in assisting the team meet strategic goals.
