Job Description
Business Payroll Consultant (Remote)
As a Business Payroll Consultant (Remote) in our services team, you will provide technical support to the Cornerstone products and services. This position requires exceptional technical expertise, troubleshooting complex issues and strong problem-solving skills. You will be focusing on using best practice solutions, develop process automation & standards, and facilitate deployment of application updates, implementations, modifications, and upgrades. And collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to the improvement of our products and services.
In this role you will…
+ Conduct and oversee application implementations and upgrades
+ Meet with customers to assess their payroll requirements, challenges, and objectives
+ Address complex payroll inquires and issues and facilitate a path to resolution
+ Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements
+ Assist with Security Officer responsibilities includes maintaining application user security
+ Lead QA application testing for system upgrades
+ Complete refresh and restore application environments
+ Review daily verification of Job executions and report any issues
+ Ability to review, troubleshoot and update Windows and UNIX scripting
+ Provide valuable feedback to product development teams based on customer experiences and needs
+ Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment within the team
You’ve Got What It Takes If You Have…
+ Bachelor’s degree or related experience and/or training
+ 5+ years of experience in professional services with demonstrated consulting skills in an enterprise-class customer SaaS environment
+ Demonstrated experience and knowledge with Payroll consulting
+ 5+ years experience in enterprise-wide learning, Payroll field including understanding of industry standards and best practices
+ Ability to work in a diverse, fast paced environment while collaborating across functional and geographical teams
+ Problem-solving mindset and analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges.
+ Demonstrated ability to build and maintain service-oriented relationships remotely and across customers and internal stakeholders
+ Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects, tasks, and customer priorities simultaneously

+ Strong knowledge of payroll processing and related compliance regulations
+ COBOL/ ASSEMBLER or similar
+ Mainframe navigation and JCL Scripting
+ IITL, JAVA, Java script, JSP, XML and SQL
+ Proficiency in payroll software, database management, and troubleshooting techniques
