JOB SUMMARY
In this strategic, hands-on, leadership role you will help Marriott identify, manage, and effectively mitigate Disaster Recovery (DR) risk across our technology landscape – for our customers, our associates, and our communities. You will be responsible for developing, communicating, implementing, and managing DR risk mitigation strategies emerging from audits, cyber threats, and ransomware. You will also be responsible for ensuring critical technology services and capabilities remain operational, stakeholders are kept abreast, and financial & reputational loss is prevented related to technology lifecycles. As the Director of Infrastructure Delivery – Disaster Recovery, you will publish, plan, and govern strategies across the technology landscape that comply with applicable regulations and cyber security policy.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required:
+ Undergraduate degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics or equivalent experience, education, and certification.
+ 8+ years of working experience in IT infrastructure including DR lifecycle governance, DR capability buildouts, and compliance for legacy and cloud native environments
+ 6+ years experience in conducting Tabletop exercises and DR drill/testing.
+ 5+ years information technology leadership experience (including budget management)
+ CBCP/MBCP professional certification
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create materials for with audiences at all levels.
Preferred :
+ Working knowledge of Public Clouds and cloud native technology risk management techniques
+ Infrastructure & operations background and/or Application development/engineering background.
+ Experience in recovery automation, recovery assurance, chaos testing.
+ Public cloud certifications – AWS / Azure / GCP / Alibaba
+ ITIL v3/v4 experience
+ Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
+ Ability to accomplish results through others, particularly by establishing relationships, effective controls and leading in a managed service environment.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
+ Drive ownership of core DR capabilities throughout the Infrastructure Delivery and Global Technology organizations.
+ Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure Delivery teams on repeatable patterns that mitigate DR risk.
+ Partner with executives and other risk leaders to identify potential technology risks, ideate potential solutions with a bias towards newer open source and cloud native technologies through automation.
+ Inspire and empower matrixed teams through openness and inclusion to think broadly about DR gaps, informed consultation, and effective challenge.
+ Manage work across organizational lines to address competing priorities and achieve results.
+ Setup processes to monitor DR lifecycle activities.
+ Create metrics-based reporting for DR activities with KPIs/KRIs.
+ Ensure the audit related DR activities are completed in a timely fashion.
+ Manage and enforce contracts, along with associated service-level agreements (SLAs) for external/SaaS service providers as required.
+ Leverage existing tools such as ServiceNow, Fusion Framework.
+ Other duties as assigned.

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $107,850.00 to $239,250.00 annually.
Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $107,850.00 to $217,498.00 annually.
New York Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $107,850.00 to $239,250.00 annually.
Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $107,850.00 to $239,250.00 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus and restricted stock units/stock grants. Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
