Job DescriptionResponsibilities Include:
+ Responsible for entire New Product Development process for assigned project including assay design, feasibility, development, validation, and transfer, including cross-functional communication and data presentation
+ Responsible for Product Project Management including writing the project plan, design inputs, risk management documents, development reports, SOPs, etc
+ Responsible for ensuring all cross-functional deliverables are completed per project plan and milestones are completed per timeline in collaboration with department manager or supervisor
+ Responsible for experimental data review, determining resource, sourcing raw materials, defining necessary experiments, and designing efficient experiments
+ Takes ownership over mentoring junior team members including reviewing of experimental data and providing technical coaching and feedback
+ Identify potential problems and resolutions during feasibility while maintaining milestones
+ Collaborate with Operations and Quality to transfer new product SOPs and specifications
+ Independently review data, make the appropriate decisions, and takes action to drive projects to meet timelines
+ Resolves problems both technical and organizational in order to drive projects to meet deadlines
+ Contribute on a technical level to any project within the department; has or obtains a broad understanding of the products and how they work such that a contribution can be made to manufacturing troubleshooting and support
+ Interface with outside customers or contractors in a professional way by demonstrating knowledge of how to work with a customer while protecting proprietary information
+ Provide supervisor or manager support by acting as succession back up as needed
+ Provide technical and New Product Development guidance to other department members
+ Follow established safe work practices by following EnviroLogix safety policies and procedures, and by reporting any unsafe or hazardous condition to their supervisor or the Environmental, Health, and Safety department for corrective action

+ Strong organization skills with demonstrated attention to detail
+ Ability to write clear and concise reports and SOPs
+ Quantitative and analytical skills with ability to communicate and present data effectively to manager and cross-functionally
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
+ Strives to achieve all KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators).
+ Provides technical insights across teams with a continuous improvement mindset
+ Understanding of basic statistical analysis and tools like JMP
+ Ability to project manager a technical product
+ Knowledge of Microsoft office especially excel
+ Positive work ethic, ambitious, and passionate attitude
Requirements:
+ Bachelor’s in a related science with a minimum of 10 years of experience, Master’s with a minimum of 5 years of experience or PhD with laboratory experience
+ Preferred experience with lateral flow techniques and processes
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to work in an office and laboratory environment
+ Ability to work around chemicals, toxins, pathogens, etc. as required
+ Ability to stand for lengthy periods of time
