Job Description
This position is available to Roux Institute and Northeastern University students who are currently enrolled and eligible for Co-op January - June 2024.
Summary
Under the direction of the Director of IT Process Development and IT Product Manager, and in collaboration with the IT Operations teams, you will use and develop skills in ITSM, ITIL, ServiceNow, business intelligence, and data analytics to work evolve and mature process and systems that help facilitate the evolution of Service Management in the IT organization and across the enterprise. This is to ensure our business users and researchers a high level of service support and customer satisfaction with the IT services and technology that enable the objectives of the Laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
Development of a PowerBI / Performance Analytics business intelligence platform, dashboards, and reports for ITSM dashboards, reporting, and data analytics
Development of mature service management reporting in ServiceNow
Data analysis, business case analysis, and proposal development on service support requirements and performance in consideration of proposed changes and projects (validate our planning with data and facts)

Preferred qualifications include:
Pursuing a graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Project Management
Exposure to one or more of the following:
Information Technology from the enterprise perspective
IT Service Management / the ITIL framework
ServiceNow / Remedy or similar ticket platforms -- and potentially APIs / development
Data analysis, statistics, metrics
IT Operations - service desk, network operations, technology and application support
Interest in IT Service Management
A self-starter who can work independently to explore, engage, and learn to ensure that tangible outcomes can be delivered.
Good time management skills
Prior exposure to or experience in a business setting.
