Job Description
The Finance Manager of Cianbro Equipment plays a key role for the Company, managing our largest capital budget and supporting strategic capital investments. The position must maintain the accounting structure in the ERP system and play an integral part in implementing/testing any changes needed in the software. The position will drive the forecasting and budget cycles for Cianbro Equipment (CEL) and Cianbro Properties (CPL), and manage the monthly financial reporting process, providing insight and value-added analysis to both finance and operational team members to drive financial performance.
Responsibilities
Manage the month-end process and report out variances to forecast and budget.
Review and validate financial statements for accuracy and trends.
Review and approve G/L journal entries including re-classes, accruals, and reoccurring journal entries.
Review and approve fixed asset and major expense classifications.
Reconcile the balance sheet accounts monthly.
Manage the accounting infrastructure within Infor M3 Software
Drive analysis on strategic property and equipment acquisitions
Manage the preparation of annual budgets and forecasting for CEL/CPL
Work with customers to resolve billing issues.
Manage relationships with Leasing Institutions and execute leases as necessary.
Provide information as needed for personal property tax returns.
Communicate and respond in a timely manner.
Coach and provide accounting and finance feedback.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years' experience in finance roles with a bachelor's degree or relevant experience
Excellent accounting and analytical skills
Ability to see the big picture while maintaining attention to detail.
Demonstrated leadership skills and team player.
Ability to effectively communicate up and down organization both verbally and written.
Results-focused individual with hands-on style committed to delivering high-quality work.
Self-starter. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong Microsoft Excel, Power Point, BI Tool, and Access skills
Experience with financial systems
