Maine Veterans’ Homes South Paris is seeking a Residential Care Director, who will be responsible for the overall unit operation and assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the interdisciplinary plan for each resident that ensures appropriate level of care and placement.
Residential Care Director Primary Responsibilities:
+ Hires, schedules, develops and implements staff growth through on-going training programs. Conducts staff performance reviews in a timely manner.
+ Develops and evaluates a service plan for each resident in order to provide high quality care and meet resident needs.
+ Plans, organizes, evaluates and ensures delivery of quality care to each resident on the unit by initiating and coordinating the comprehensive interdisciplinary service plan in compliance with state and federal regulations, and MVH policies and procedures.
+ Oversees, completes and maintains nursing/medical records according to procedure in order to document resident outcomes and to meet state, federal and VA regulations.

Required Experience:
+ Record of effective leadership and administrative skills, and ability to develop, organize and direct staff to provide quality services to the residents
+ 2-5 years of clinical experience
+ Current and valid Registered Nursing License from State of Maine
