Summary


Position Summary

The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing ultrasound exams to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. He/she assists Radiologists in sterile procedures, and maintains ultrasound equipment according to manual.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Completion of AMA approved two (2) year course. Completion of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Exams - D.M.S. preferred.

License/Certifications: Current registration of R.D.M.S. Current license for State of Maine if appropriate. Valid Maine Driver's License.

Experience: At least three (3) months' Diagnostic Ultrasound experience preferred.
