Job Description
The Senior Digital Product Manager is the lead for JAX's public website and is responsible for creating an intuitive, useful and elegant digital entry point for all of JAX's customers and constituents. They drive the vision, strategy, business requirements, roadmap, and execution for the public website. The Senior Digital Product Manager ensures alignment between business and technology priorities as they relate to JAX's stated strategic goals, serving as the domain expert on the web and developing long-range technical and design plans that balance and support the key strategic initiatives of the lab. The Senior Digital Product Manager leads a digital team and external partners and is the owner of the overall web experience including oversight of the content management system and integrations with key data. The Senior Digital Product Manager defines the technical environment, coding standards and architecture for JAX's public facing technologies, creating high quality user experiences and developing a stable, scalable digital infrastructure for JAX's future expansion.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions
*Manage internal and external resources to maintain web infrastructure, including jax.org and the Sitecore content management system, and maintain vendor relationships. Plan and oversee infrastructure updates with IT and vendor partners.
*Leadership of Executive Web Governance team, Web Operations team, and UX/UI working group.
*Manage the Web Development Group (Front End Developer, UX Designer) and the Agile design and development pipeline. Manage projects, lead scrums, and assign design, development, and QA testing resources.
*Drive user-centric design and strategy and engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the website effectively serves the needs of its users as well as internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
*Bachelor's degree and minimum 7 years of website management experience in a business or agency setting
*5 years of experience building, implementing and managing software or digital products, taking into account life-cycle considerations and multiple audiences.
*Substantial experience managing vendors and vendor contractors
*Experience working with product development teams that build and maintain web applications
*Experienced process manager who excels at leading agile teams
*Experience designing with UX tools such as Figma or Mural
*Understanding and experience in managing software development environments desirable
*Experience in managing digital design processes and mentoring people
*Proven people skills - ability to influence peers and stakeholders with direct authority and across functional groups to set and meet aggressive schedules.
*Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize multiple projects with tight deadlines and deliver quality material on time in a matrixed environment
*Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure; strong project management skills
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include editing written and digital material
Salary Range: $105,211 - $180,848
