Job Description
Kelly Science is seeking an Animal Care Trainee for a research laboratory located in Bar Harbor, ME. This opportunity offers a strong career growth path in the animal research field.
This opportunity offers a relocation package as well for any relocation more than 50 miles. *
Pay: $18/hour + a $2,000 sign-on bonus
Employment Type: Full time; Direct Hire
Summary:
As the Animal Care Trainee, you will responsible for animal husbandry and monitoring general health and welfare for the facilities mice.
Job Duties include:
+ Perform daily animal husbandry
+ Maintain and monitor health and welfare of animals
+ Maintain a level sterility and sanitary environment
+ Perform assigned duties in a highly controlled clean room environment
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ 1 year of work experience required ( does not have to be animal care or science industry related)
+ Ability to work in a fast paced environment
+ Ability to gown in/out of clean rooms
+ Ability to stand on your feet for majority of the work day
