Job Description
The incumbent provides support to the HR Business Partner function by performing administrative tasks to include but not limited to filing, meeting scheduling, status of employment letters, termination letters and unemployment claims. Incumbent will be responsible for all Workday transactions relating to employee relations, including but not limited to, employee transfers, promotions, salary changes, etc., as well as job description input into Payfactors. The incumbent will assist with onsite HR events. The incumbent may serve as the point person for initial intake regarding employee relations issues.
These assignments involve work of a confidential or complex administrative nature, necessitating exposure to sensitive information and contacts requiring discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy.
Full time onsite in Bar Harbor with possibly 1 day in Ellsworth Offic
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions
Provides high level administrative support with a focus on Employee Relations to include employee relations intake and ER correspondence/documents.
Manage sensitive and confidential information
Maintain records and files in accordance with state and federal laws
Process Human Resources paperwork and Workday transactions in a timely manner
Create written documentation supporting HR functions as needed
Input into database to track various employee relations matters
Present HR Portion of new employee orientation as needed
Respond to and route employee questions and concerns
Assist with the appropriate routing of employee relation issues
Support employee recognition activities
Contribute to and maintain accurate HRIS data
Generate and prepare identified HRBP requested reports as required
Perform general office administrative work
Other duties as assigned
Education, Experience
Degree in Human Resources, or a related field preferred. Prior experience in Human Resources desired.
2-4 years of prior experience in human resources preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong knowledge of software applications including but not limited to MS Office
Working knowledge of HRMS database systems
Ability to operate with considerable independence, often with minimal guidance and under limited supervision
Knowledge of local, state and federal laws regarding Employment
Pay Range: $48,916 - $74,707
