Hospice of Southern Maine is seeking a 36-hour (night shift) Registered Nurse (RN) responsible to provide quality, cost effective hospice nursing care, within an interdisciplinary team, in a competent holistic manner for an assigned group of patients in the hospice house, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care; to empower patients and families to achieve maximum levels of comfort and independence.

Graduate of an NLN accredited nursing program. Minimum of one year of RN experience preferred. One year of oncology, acute care, hospice and/or home care nursing preferred. Registered Nurse licensure by the State of Maine. BLS certification or the ability to obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment required. Certification must be kept active during the course of employment.
