Job Description
We are hiring a Loan Servicing Specialist I to join our growing team at Atlantic Federal Credit Union! Atlantic serves over 49,000 members, with a mission to improve their financial quality of life and take an active role within our communities.
The Loan Servicing Department handles all inquiries for loans that have closed and are booked. This position will provide information, suggestions, resources, and solutions to internal and external members. The Loan Servicing Specialist I will deliver a high level of prompt, efficient member service in all interactions while adhering to all corporate policies and standards. This individual must be reliable with a strong focus to detail and will perform a variety of duties that include maintaining and updating member information, answering phone calls, performing file maintenance, preparing Subsequent Action forms, and escalating matters, when appropriate, to a Loan Servicing Specialist II.

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform file maintenance associated with modifications/subsequent actions, payment reversals or skips, etc. This includes ongoing account monitoring for accurate year-end reports.
- Support internal and external members with loan-related inquiries. This includes but is not limited to handling responding and/or redirecting email inquiries as well as answering phones with resolution as the end goal and assisting with gathering of files/documentation for audits and exams.
- Review various departmental related reports ensuring separation of duties in accordance with audit recommendations, provide support to and cross-train in LSS II positions.
- Cross-training for other functions in the department for lateral service.
