Job Description
The Parks and Recreation Department of the Town of Brunswick seeks candidates for a Full Time Lead Child Care Teacher position.
The ideal candidate will have proven and demonstrated supervisory skills and strong customer service background. Additional requirements include strong attention to detail; excellent communication and organizational proficiency; ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; maintain confidentiality and interact utilizing excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities for this position include planning, organizing, and implementing the daycare program, organize and implement daily activities, ensuring spaces are safe and supervising children aged 6 weeks to 4 years old.
Full Time: This position will work a Monday to Friday 40-hour work week with shifts that could range from early morning to early evening, based off schedule. This position will pay $16.50-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience. This position is a regular full-time non-exempt position and is contingent upon the successful continuation of the Daycare Program. This position is eligible for accrual of vacation, sick leave, holidays, and an excellent benefit package including options for health, dental and/or life insurances, short-term disability, and retirement plan choices.
