Summary

 

 

Position Summary

This is food service production work responsible for providing leadership and direction to Food Services Workers and Room Service Representatives in a work area (Dish Room, Nourishments, Food Prep, Tray assembly and Tray Delivery). This work also involves performing the duties of a Food Services Worker and assuming supervisory responsibility during the absence of a Food Service Supervisor.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: N/A

License/Certifications: N/A

Experience: Knowledge of food production operations normally acquired through experience as a Food Services Worker.

Ability to meet deadlines.

Ability to delegate duties as needed to appropriate employees.

Ability to work well with others.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Knowledge of food safety.

Knowledge of Hospital Quality Improvement Program.
