Position Summary:
Conducting and documenting individual and family psychosocial assessments; providing treatment utilizing evidence based practices
Providing patient care coordination through contact with community resources and providing comprehensive discharge planning services.
40 hour work week, office open 8a-5p, M-F.

An individual with an LCSW, or close to achieving their full LCSW, ready to jump into our team, and help us continue to provide excellent care in our vision of working together so our communities are the healthiest in America.
A caring and empathetic member of our team, able to provide services in a manner and language appropriate to the age and comprehensive level of the diverse clients and their families.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Master's degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
License/Certifications: Maine State licensure to practice as a LCSW, LMSW or LCPC is required. Maine State licensure to practice as a LADC and CADC as needed. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation if applicable.
Experience: 2+ years of related work experience in a health or mental health setting preferred; depending on client population to be serviced, desired work experience may vary. Prior experience with clinical methods and techniques used in individual, family and group therapy as related to mental health and/or substance abuse issues is required.
Knowledge of social work/ counseling theories, therapies and techniques, as used in individual, family and group treatment, as well as principles of social welfare are required
